Jump pegs to clear the board. One peg left wins.

The Jump

Tap a peg, then tap the empty hole two spaces away in a straight line. The peg you leap over is removed. Jumps are horizontal or vertical only.

The Goal

Clear the board down to a single peg to win — finish with it in the center hole for a perfect game. Fewer pegs left is a better score.

HOW TO PLAY
Peg Solitaire — a classic solo puzzle

The Board

  • 33 holes arranged in a plus / cross shape
  • Every hole starts with a peg except the center, which is empty
  • That leaves 32 pegs to clear

Making a Jump

  • Select a peg, then jump it over an adjacent peg into the empty hole beyond
  • Jumps are horizontal or vertical only — never diagonal
  • The peg you jumped over is removed from the board
  • Use Undo to take back the last jump

Winning

  • Clear the board down to a single peg to win
  • Finish with that last peg in the center hole for a perfect game
  • If no jumps remain and more than one peg is left, the round is over
  • Your best score is the fewest pegs you've ever left behind
