Terms & Conditions

The rules behindevery game you play.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Arcadia, including any games, features, content, websites, applications and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using Arcadia, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Important: This document is a generic template and may not reflect all legal requirements in your jurisdiction. You should obtain independent legal advice before relying on it or offering real-money gameplay to users.

1. Eligibility & account registration

To use Arcadia, you must:

  • Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
  • Meet any minimum age and legal requirements that apply to participation in skill-based games, sweepstakes or similar contests where you live.
  • Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law or any previous decision by Arcadia (for example, a prior ban or account closure for misconduct).

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account details and keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or allow others to use it on your behalf.

2. Use of the Platform

Arcadia provides skill-based games and sweepstakes-style experiences. Exact rules, scoring logic and eligibility may vary per game, mode or event and may be updated over time.

By joining a game, room or event, you accept the applicable rules displayed in the lobby or help sections (including any entry requirements, prize structures and timing).

3. Acceptable use & fair play

You agree that you will not:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate match outcomes or interfere with normal gameplay.
  • Use bots, scripts, automation or any unauthorised tools to gain an advantage over other players.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse or otherwise harm other users, moderators or staff.
  • Attempt to access accounts, systems or data that you are not authorised to access.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms, game rules or applicable law.

We may investigate suspicious activity and take appropriate action, including warnings, match reversals, prize reallocation, suspensions or permanent bans.

4. Payments, rewards & risk

Where Arcadia allows real-money entry fees, prizes, tokens or reward structures, additional rules and eligibility criteria may apply. You are responsible for ensuring that participation is permitted in your jurisdiction and that you comply with local laws, including tax requirements on any winnings.

  • Deposits, withdrawals and payouts may be handled by third-party providers (such as payment processors or wallet providers). We are not responsible for errors or delays caused solely by those providers.
  • Balances displayed in your account are indicative and may be adjusted to correct errors, resolve disputes or enforce our policies.
  • All games carry some level of risk. You should only participate with amounts you can afford to lose and should stop playing if you feel that you are losing control.

We reserve the right to limit, refuse or reverse transactions where we reasonably believe there may be fraud, abuse, breach of these Terms or legal obligations.

5. Intellectual property & user content

All Arcadia branding, game logic, artwork, UI, code and related assets are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform solely for its intended purpose.

If you submit content (such as usernames, avatars, chat messages or other materials), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content to operate and promote the Platform, subject to applicable law. You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate.

6. Suspension, termination & changes

We may suspend or terminate your account, limit features or restrict access to all or part of the Platform if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, game rules, legal requirements or other policies referenced here.

We may modify or discontinue the Platform (or any part of it) at any time, including by updating game rules, adding or removing features, or changing eligibility criteria. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

7. Disclaimers, limitation of liability & governing law

This section is high-level and may not meet all legal requirements for your jurisdiction. You should get professional legal advice before using it in production.

7.1 Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every game outcome or leaderboard will be free from bugs, disconnections or other issues.

7.2 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arcadia will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims relating to the Platform will be limited to the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7.3 Governing law & disputes

These Terms are intended to operate alongside any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your place of residence. To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to the Platform may be subject to the laws and courts that we specify in a jurisdiction-specific version of these Terms. Where this is not specified, the competent courts in your place of residence will typically have jurisdiction.

7.4 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, via email or in-app notice). Your continued use of Arcadia after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
